A remix EP for Felix Cartal’s poppy summertime hit “Young Love” has just been released. Our favorite variation? Sleepy Tom’s hard hitting electro mix. It takes the original EDM track, strips out a lot of the vocals, and instead lets the instrumentals do the work. Sleepy Tom lives over at Fool’s Gold, so it’s no surprise he kicks ass.

This one instantly transports me to Nikki’s Beach Club, South Beach Miami, a day party, any day of the week.

By now you should all be in love with Disclosure’s latest album Settle, and one of its bangingest tunes, “When A Fire Starts To Burn.” Looking for a new twist on the track? Check this mix from Branko which adds some dancehall tang into mix.

Deadmau5 - Mercedes

New from Deadmau5 is this shimmering new track titled “Mercedes.” It cruises along with a great filter sweep tone, creating a sound in a similar vein to something Kavinsky would make.

The Bloody Beetroots - OUT OF SIGHT Feat. Paul McCartney & Youth

Yeah, we know this one is a few months old, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it again. It’s a kick ass collaboration between influental musicians from different ages, and we should celebrate that. Plus, we’re very, very excited for the remixes coming out in September. The EP will include a Riva Starr dub mix, which was released and then painfully pulled from our hands this past week, as well as mixes from Killaflaw, Valentino Khan, and AUCAN.

SLDGHMR - Floor Destroyer

You could hear SLDGHMR’s new track, “Floor Destroyer” and not even realize who you were listening to. Creating acid electro feel, the track uses trashy snare and bass, a distorted mono bass, and buckets of reverb.
