So hurry your ass up and come to LA.

Electro

Oliver - MYB (Move Your Body)

Damn, these L.A. kids are talented. First, one of my favorite electro jam in the last 12 months...and now (finally) this great 80s / sci fi inspired compilation mash up video. More please.

Wolfgang Gartner ft Medina - Overdose - PREVIEW

Here’s a preview, courtesy of Wolfgang Gartner.

Feed Me & Crystal Fighters - Love Is All I Got (Feed Me's Matilda Remix) - Live

House

Duke Dumont - Need U (100%) -Blase Boys Club Dub

Dirtyphonics - Irreverence (2013)

Stream Dirtyphonics’ full album on soundcloud. It moves from one subgenre to the next in a way that only modern dance music could.

Solidisco - Never Let You Go

Doing it like the 70’s never went away, Solidisco brings the heat with the characteristic looped sample and throwback vocal track.

Progressive

NERVO - Hold On

Here’s a new preview from Nervo. It’s nothing breakthrough, unique, or incredibly interesting. But it’s from two smoking hot Aussie twins who know how to make the dancefloor move, so we can deal.

Ummet Ozcan - Here & Now (Original Mix)

Great prog track from Ummet Ozcan. This one goes all over the place, with soft, tuned down lows contrasted with moments of pure banger.

Alex Metric - RW 2

Alex Metric’s incorporates a breakbeat in an unusual way in the new “RW 2.” The entire track plays against the backbeat in a way that unheard of in current dance music. Very refreshing, very aggressive.

Knife Party Live at Ultra Music Festival 2013 (WEEK 2)

Steve Aoki - Ooh ft. Rob Roy (Gigi Barocco Remix)

This is easily the biggest track of our post. It’s boomin' on all accounts, and should have you out of your seat in no time. It has the energy of a rock band coupling with a DJ, with a crunk rapper over the top. It’s a modern take on dance music that has us on the edge of our seat.

Nom De Strip - Clouds EP: Vol 2 (4.18 Minute Mix)

HAEZER Shango

We have two remixes of Laurent Garnier’s “Jacques in the Box,” for your listening pleasure. They’re totally different in style.

Laurent Garnier - Jacques in The Box (Brodinski & Gesaffelstein 420 Rmx)

The first remix is coming at you from the masters of eerie dancefloor thrillers, Brodinski & Gesaffelstein. The clamoring, distorted organ sample hits your right our of the gates, seeing the tone for the track. The drum track is a broad toned moombah shuffle, accentuated by syncopated cymbals. Bringing the level of eeriness up a few notches is the bell line that sounds like it could be in a theme for Halloween and the violins that mean someone’s about to die.

LAURENT GARNIER feat. L.B.S crew "Jacques in the box" PARADE remix

On the opposite side of the spectrum is Parade’s remix. It’s in the tempo we’re used to dancing to. The low end is centered around a distorted growl, while a throwback organ line takes the high end flying away.

Sound of Stereo - TFA (Botnek Remix)
