I totally regret watching Kanye Kartrashian’s latest video, ‘Bound 2.’ I’m sure it took a lot of creative genius hours to slap together a tasteless soft porno. It’s awkward fuckeries like the vid that make me grateful for The Hump Day Special...a.k.a. the day BitCandy graces your heartless pretentious hipster soul with the best indie pop songs from around the web and stuff. So how bout we get started, I need to rid myself of the images in my head.

SHY GIRLS - SECOND HEARTBEAT

Can you hear that? It’s the sound of millions of panties dropping. Dan Vidmar and his curls are conquering ears with a blissful post break up track that quickly fills your body with warm, tingly feelings.

SKY FERREIRA - HEAVY METAL HEART

I want to thank H&M in advance for killing this gem of a track. Heavy nauseating rotation. Enjoy the fuzz before it’s spoiled.

ECSTASY - FRIENDS 4 LYF (Duff)

Back in May we introduced to you ECSTASY and they're now blowing up the blogosphere. May gut feeling tells me that this is the beginning to fruitful career in creating synth pop bliss.

BIRDY - LIGHT ME UP (LYRIC VIDEO)

If you need to cleanse you ear from the common pop trash, then Birdy is your best bet to help you with that. ‘Light Me Up’ has what it takes to be a big 80’s hit.

SAINT RAYMOND - YOUNG BLOOD - CURATOR DUFFSTER

Big fan of this track, everything about the edit seems to click and scream summer. A bit too early for me to decide if he’s of my liking, I’ll wait till January when he releases his EP before I give my full opinion.

ANGEL HAZE - COUNTING STARS (ONE REPUBLIC COVER)

I was a bit weary and prepared to cringe at this cover. But surprisingly Angel’s cover vocal isn’t half bad. There’s a lot more covers by Rihanna oops I mean Angel over at her soundcloud page.

BAD SUNS - CARDIAC ARREST

I will not sleep until I find out everything I need to know about these guys. With only one song under their belt and not much social media info, I’m dying to know more. We’ll keep you posted as news comes in.

BRITNEY SPEARS - WORK BITCH - MONSIEUR ADI REMIX

Love how it doesn’t really sound anything like the original. Who knew that the future success of Brit Brit’s past due career would lay in the hands of one of our favorite French producers.

ERIK HASSLE - TALK ABOUT IT (ASTR REMIX)

You’ll feel this track running through your bloodstream the moment you hear it. Gloom pop at its best.

NEW POLITICS - TONIGHT YOU’RE PERFECT

This seems like the perfect time to get up and make a smamich with cheese.

LILY ALLEN - HARD OUT HERE (JESS)

Oh Lily I love that pirate hooker mouth of yours and your fun liberal way of thinking. You twerk like no other and I swear to gwad I will never look at a banana the same way.

BASTILLE COVERS TLC “NO SCRUBS” ON SIRIUSXM ALT NATION

The official title should be “No Angels.” Get with it Alt. Nation, geez. Anyways, Bastille can take any song any genre and turn it into something that will leave you reaching for the Kleenex box.
