BEST NEW SONGS: KLYNE - ENTROPY

7/15/15

Anyone who questions the thermodynamic law of entropy has never left a group of teenagers unattended. Likewise, anyone who questions the awesomeness of “Entropy,” the second single from Dutch electro pop duo Klyne, is a f**king moron.

After receiving a spoonful of buzz from their debut track, “Paralyzed,” Klyne solidified themselves as a band-to-watch with the catchy, danceable, and funky fresh “Entropy.” Steel-drums envelope the duo of Nick Klein and Ferdous Dehzad’s pristine harmonies while a pulsing beat drives things forward. I’m on my fifth listen in a row and I keep waiting to get tired of this song. I don’t think that’s happening tonight.

This feels like the sort of thing Ruud Gullit would listen to before going out and dismantling his opponents on the pitch. (Note to American Readers: This is a soccer reference. A male soccer reference. You can just go ahead and ignore it.)

KLYNE “ENTROPY”

The Paralyzed - Single, of which Entropy is a b-side, is due out August 7th on Aesop, which is a pretty dope name for a record label.
