BEST NEW TRACKS: SWICK & LEWIS CANCUT "WISHES (FT. TKAY MAIDZA)"

Canadian Producer and Future Bass heartthrob Ryan Hemsworth had a novel idea this summer when he introduced the world to Secret Songs. Here's his Facebook post describing the projects mission.

Hemsworth has been releasing gem after gem from entirely independent artists twice a month since then. Secret Songs has been a treasure for those in the know, and their latest offering from a trio of Australia artists is no exception. Producers Swick & Lewis Cancut created this sugary sweet beat for "Wishes" which female rapper Tkay Maidza spits/sings over. "Wishes" is the opener off the "very first Secret Songs compilation" shh#ffb6c1 and is so poppy and repetitive that it's borderline obnoxious. The incessantly bright synths and Maidza's sing song vocals never tire though, and this one is going to be getting some heavy rotation in my earbuds for the foreseeable future.

This song is not for people who want something stuck in their head all day.
