Best Of PopKiller (10 Songs) Week 33

Um, so what the hell is pop music today?  It's sure the hell not what I think is currently playing on commercial pop radio. That's why we're here with the PopKiller post to call out the best songs this week via blogs in music and song leaks  Here more of what we think Pop Music REALLY is on our PopKiller channel.  Let's get started!

"Some Other Party In Paradise" - Brenton Duvall - Notorious B.I.G. vs Phil Collins, I'm still trying to memorize all the Biggie Smalls raps (or at least one like this one) that I can bust out at Subway or when getting my clothes tailored or waiting in line at the Post Office.  Modern poetry at it's finest.

"Get Drunk Up" - Craig David & Erick Morello - the only problem with this song is I didn't think of the title first.  New single hitting your club and airwaves just as soon as you pop open the $9.99 Vodka bottle.

"I'm On One" (KillaGrahm Remix) - DJ Khaled ft Drake, Lil Wayne - no comment necessary for awesome.

"Either Drift" - Com Truise - Are we going to hear this on your local pop radio station?  Fuck no!  But we think it should be.

"Eyes" Kaskade feat. Mindy Gledhill - Again, are we going to hear this on the local pop radio station?  Hmmm...I have a hunch.  My hunch is that this decade, pop music...will all be about electronic and dance music...so we might have a shot.  Delicious new track from Kaskade.

"She Will (Featuring Drake)" Lil Wayne

"Knights Of Cydonia (Gramatik Remix)" - Muse, While I'm more a fan of Muse's earlier 1st 2 albums...I mean c'mon how much of arpeggios can you get enough of (inside joke for the musicians reading this)...I'm totally loving this banger electro grimey remix from Gramatik.

"Suicidal Thoughts" (White Lotus Remix) Notorious B.I.G. vs Kanye West - is it really fact that this Notorious B.I.G. is not with us?  So many years later his songs have MEGA LIFE. 

"Take You Higher" GoodWill & Hook N Sling - yummy.  Steve Miller eat your hearT out.

"Wildfire feat. Little Dragon (Paper Diamond Remix)" - SBTRKT, great dub steppy remix to an even greater song.
