BEST NEW VIDEO: HIPPIE SABOTAGE "STAY HIGH (TOVE LO FLIP)"

1/9/14

There are sexy music videos, and then there’s Hippie Sabotage’s best music video, “Stay High (Tove Lo Flip).”  We’re going to break all this down quickly, because we’ve got some red hot video to watch.

Hippie Sabotage is two brothers from California who make dope beats. The bros “flipped” Swedish popstress Tove Lo’s “Habits” for a “short film” for director Aris Jerome starring the so-absurdly-beautiful-I-don’t-actually-think-she’s-a-real-person Chanelle Elise. “Flipped” is in quotation marks in the last sentence, because really it’s just a remix, but sure, we’ll try flip out as a synonym. “Short film” is in quotes because really it’s just 129 seconds of Ms. Elise being very, very attractive. But don’t take my word for it. See for yourself:

And if you’re looking for a longer cut of the song (sadly sans sexy imagery), stream the track in full below:

Lastly, here’s the Tove Lo song the brothers Sabotage flipped for artistic/exploitive purposes.

TOVE LO “HABITS”

Neither the video nor the song for Hippie Sabotage “Stay High (Tove Lo Flip)” are available for purchase, which is basically forcing you to be a criminal and pirate these awesome works. Just be sure to support all the artists involved in your own way, you guys.

And this just in, The Chainsmokers have also done a killer version of the song that is a must hear:

Thanks for stopping by Bitcandy, where we’ve gotta stay high all the time to keep you off our mind.
