New Artist: Steve Smyth

I caught myself laughing wildly as I filtered through our BitCandy Curator submissions. Why? Two words for ya: Steve Smyth. Yes! Yes! Sweet Jesus Yes! I was hooked after listening to ‘Bar Made Blues.’ I felt like a coke fiend... I needed more of those husky rich mahogany tones. His voice, his presence, his beard...they all took my breath away, and for a moment the world stood still.

Being a notable Australian native, Smyth found his calling when he listened to Bob Dylan (yeah the dude is cool). Since then he’s been travelling, performing, and infiltrating people’s souls with his poetic haunting voice all through Europe and Australia.
IN A PLACE
Hmmm, listening to the above makes me feel like Smyth is lurking from behind a dark alley. Anyways... I think what Smyth does best through his music is his ability to make you forget it all and leave it all behind!
