NEW ARTIST FINDS: MAX MANIE

Maximilian Schimke AKA MAX MANIE is an Austrian based artist who burst onto the scene in 2013 and first started getting notoriety with his deep house original mix for "Sunday." Its smoothly produced soulfulness was harnessed with just the right leverage in order to turn a few ears his way, and by the looks of his Facebook page, a few thousand at that. It's clear that this young producer, who once tended to a more guitar ridden indie side, has the right amount of creative ingenuity to release some deep progressive house.

For anyone who's in that blissful deepness can just jump right into his next track which features some vocal overlays from Marvin Gaye, rebaked at just the right temperature. It's got a few interesting drum patterns as well...risky to incorporate some of it into a song like this, but i dig the creative leap.

He's got an RA profile as well, and if you don't know what that is by now, you're clearly not as into dance music as you thought you were. And hey, if you're still young, well then it's never too early to jump on the bandwagon. Actually i take that back. Toddlers and forming toddlers do not really need to be going to events posted on resident advisor, but hey, to each his own, I guess. However, I'm not gonna be responsible for your little baby boy when he walks into the middle of me two stepping... no way, that kid might get a boot to the skull!! Not on purpose, of course...
