Listen! Chvrches "The Mother We Share"

10/2/12

You heard it here first: "u" are out, and "v's" are fucking in.

We here at Bitcandy have already been tracking this recent trend, and today's Latest New Songs comes from a band that could likely be the tipping point of "u" eventual removal from all languages.

Chvrches is a Scottish electo-pop trio whose latest single, "The Mother We Share," is a gorgeous, synth based piece built around the main line, "The mother we share will never keep our cold hearts from thawing."

Check it out below:

Very little is know about Chvrches. "The Mother We Share" is only the second song they've released, "Lies" being the other. The name behind the hauntingly beautiful vocals is Lauren Mayberry. And besides that there's not much else out there on these guys. If you know of anything be sure to let us know.

We'll be keeping an eye on them anyways...along with another "u" for "v" switch out, Mvscles, who we also dearly love.

Thanks for stopping by Bitcandy's Blogs On Music, where the mother we share will never keep our cold hearts from thawing.
