Best New Videos: The Presents "Promises"

The Presents make our best new videos page. They're a wonderful pair of Australian musicians who make electro-pop that's sprinkled with disco. Now their music is as flamboyant as I made it sound it that last sentence, but it's impossible to not to dance to it.
Our Best New Video today is "Promises" which comes from their latest album, Pacifica. And forget everything Flight of the Conchords taught you about the Aussies hating their Kiwi brethren, cause New Zealand directorial duo Special Problems, aka Joel Kefali and Campbell Hooper, made the official video for "Promises."

Whether or not there was supposed to be a narrative in all those images seems inconsequential, because they're truly mesmerizing. It felt almost like subliminal advertising, or perhaps some sort of ink blot test.
