BitCandy's Best of Covers Pt 5
BitCandy's LA Music Blog is a monster fan of monster songs and crafty amazing songwriting. And that's why we get fascinated everytime a great cover comes about. And they say that this is the highest compliment an artist can pay to another artist...reinterpreting one of their songs in their own artistic form.
When done great...it's brilliant. But it can be done poorly too...just ask Prince and what he thought of Maroon 5 destorying (in a not so good way) his song "Kiss." Worst Cover of the Year = Marron 5 "Kiss."
A great cover takes the idea of flipping something around and making it fresh.
