Best of Weekly Electro (10 Tracks!) - Week 33
Ladies and gentlemen! The Olympics are now over, which means instead of filling your time with sports that you’ve never heard of, never cared about before, and aren’t really even sports (i.e. tumbling, dressage), you can fill your time with more delicious tunes from bitcandy.com.
Yes, once more it is Uncle Flex and Glitch of bitcandy.com, here to bring you more of the top dance songs from around the blogosphere, the planisphere, and the webisphere: there’s just nothing square about it. So pull up a chair, plug in the speakers, and have a fantastic time. And don’t forget to check out this review of HARD Summer.
ENOUGH CHATTER; TIME FOR MUSIC
Skrillex & Boys Noize aka Dog Blood - Next Order | Preview
We give ye Dog Blood! A killer combo of Skrillex and Boys Noize. Now, most people who know me, Uncle Flex, know that I don’t like Skrillex at all and instead find his music obnoxious, hackneyed, and full of gimmicks. So when I saw that he teamed up with Boys Noize, an artist that I very much like, I was both curious and worried. After a listen to this preview, I have to say I’m pretty excited for the full thing.
MONSTA Holdin On (Radio Edit)
This is not necessarily new... but I guarantee you it’s 100% fucking awesome. Witness Monsta.
Jack Beats Feat. Dillon Francis - Epidemic (Original Mix)
Some gnarly moombahton for your listening pleasure. This track has a lot of different energy going on between the more driven quasi-moombahcore verse and the much more upbeat e-house piano interludes.
Adventure Club - Retro City
We posted this already but worth posting again because it is da thumbz upz.
Nova - Shadow Puppets (Centra Remix)
Perfect for stepping up the D&B action.
Tonight feat. Maja Ivarsson (Autoerotique Remix)
This is a new remix by Autoerotique which I think improves pretty greatly upon the orignal by Felix Cartel. The original is more like a love ballad than a dance beat, which frankly I have NO time for. The remix brings up the tempo and drive of the track.
Bloc Party - Octopus (SLDGHMR Remix)
SLDGHMR remix of the new Bloc Party track. Definitely give this one a listen. I feel it really adds to the original. Plus there is a there free download from their soundcloud! What do you think? Is the original or remix better?
Jack Beats - War (feat. Diplo & Example)
Fool's Gold Radio - August 2012 Mix
More great Fool’s Gold Radio for us to devour, including some great new singles as well as more fringe style electronic.
That’s all for this week. Check back for more great tunes next week. Don’t forget to tell us what you think.

Mac Miller "O.K. (Feat. Tyler The Creator)"

Disclosure "You & Me feal Eliza Doolittle (Flume Remix)"
Too often in society we get bogged down with the notion that to build something up, we must tear a nearby equivalent down. Things are rarely that black and white, and this pendulum culture of praise d

New Singer/Songwriter: K.S. Rhoads
Nashville seems like the type of place in which you can't swing a bat without hitting a singer-songwriter. Standing out in such an over-populated crowd takes more than talent, luck, and hard work.
The F is This? "Katy and the Popcats???"
There's a social contract between a star and their fans. We, the fans, will continue to pay them to entertain us so long as they put out an enjoyable product that doesn't seem like a disingenuous cash
