Best New Tracks: Climax - "Usher"
Usher Terry Raymond the IV (seriously, that is his full name) returns this February with "Climax," an innuendo friendly R&B (or "Radiohead quietstorm") number produced by the ever in-demand Diplo.
The track was written by Diplo, Redd Stylez, and the up and coming Ariel Rechtshaid (who also produced the current Active Child album as well as singles from Theophilus London), and features strings by classical cross-over artist, Nico Muhly.
Diplo labelled "Climax" "the best record I've been part of" and added "I'm pretty sure in 9 months there are gonna be a lot of new babies that this song is responsible for."
While "You were conceived to Climax by Usher, child" is enough to scar your kid for life, we admit the track is damn sexy (and Usher's vocals are killlaaaah). Listen and procreate, below.
