WTF: Emo/Metal Band Fails
Thanks for tuning into BitCandy's "When Emo/Metal Bands Go Wrong!" -- broadcasting only the epicest of Video Fails to frequent the blogosphere!
First up, a young Pete Wentz* is yet to hone the art of the guitar swing (no wonder he ultimately switched to bass). Performing at his Grandma's garden party in the summer of 1992, Wentz loses his axe to the wind in a moment of reckless rock and roll. Then again, if our band sounded as bad as Fall Out Boy*, we'd throw our guitar away too.
Guitar "Swing" Fail
In their early days, 30 Seconds to Mars* were banned by their parents from practising in the living room (can you blame them?). Consequently, all rehearsals had to take place on a tiny porch outside Jared Leto's* house. Still, performing within such close proximity allowed to band to perfect the art of synchronised head banging -- only during this particular rehearsal, things got a little out of hand...
Porch EMO/Hardcore Fail
Boy oh boy. Steel Panther* had to deal with some divas in the early days. This never-before-seen gig footage actually captures a former Panther member quitting directly on stage. Not even Michael Starr's* impromptu Bon Jovi singsong can distract the audience from the drama. Man, you really ARE an asshole, Tim.
"I Quit" On Stage (this actually happened to me once)

*Names have been changed to protect the (not-so) innocent.
